Who gets in, who stays, and why it matters where.

I am a doctoral researcher at the Department of Geography of the University of Zurich. My work asks how institutional conditions at Swiss Gymnasia shape the educational pathways of minoritised students.

I studied Educational Science, Philosophy and Social Data Science at the University of Zurich. Before starting my PhD, I worked on research projects at teacher education universities and on European education and research policy in Brussels.

Institutional conditions for minoritised students at Swiss Gymnasia

My dissertation is part of a project funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF). It examines how Gymnasia, as institutions, create or limit opportunities for students from minoritised backgrounds.
